The Insure Tech Connect Digital Insurance Agenda (ITC DIA) is a leading international event that focuses on the latest innovations in the insurance industry. They bring insurance and technologically innovative companies together to accelerate the digital transformation of the insurance sector.

The event is organized annually in global cities such as Amsterdam, Munich and, from 2025, also in London. This event draws an international audience of insurers, startups, tech companies and investors, all striving for progress and innovation within the insurance sector.

_{The reason for the collaboration}

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, ITC DIA was organized as a physical event where registration, communication and organization were mainly via email and PDFs. This was a time-consuming and error-prone process that no longer met the requirements of a modern event. With the shift to virtual events during the pandemic, and now back to a physical model, the need for a more advanced and efficient solution arose.

_{What did we implement?}

We have ensured a smooth pre-registration. The on-site badge printing provided a smooth and efficient self-check-in experience, even for last-minute registered participants. As part of the consistent branding, each participant received a beautifully designed badge.

We also ensured that the networking during the event was optimized. Attendees could easily schedule meetings and meet in a large meeting lounge with numbered tables, making it easy to make new connections.

For partners, we offered a special portal where they could easily manage their team and view all leads. In addition, FFAIR was a central place where partners could prepare for the event, with a personalized overview of their tasks, including handbooks and the correct discount codes. This ensured that partners were able to find everything in one place.

_{What was the result?}

The years of cooperation between ITC DIA Events and Lively have laid a strong foundation for the successful digital transformation that the event has undergone. Annemarie Roozendaal, Event Manager at ITC DIA Events, explains: “Lively has been our partner for the entire registration, the event app, and now also an exhibitor portal for years. They're actually the connecting link between the different apps we use.” This solid collaboration and the use of innovative technologies contributed to the 2024 edition in Amsterdam attracting a record number of more than 1,000 visitors.

The interactive features that Lively integrated increased participant engagement. This was also reflected in the enthusiastic feedback that Roozendaal and her team received. She also highlights the practical benefits of working with Lively: “First of all, I like the fact that Lively is based in the Netherlands as a company. The team is always ready to solve all our questions right away. Someone from Lively's technical party is always present at the on-site registration, so that's a lot of comfort.”

The collaboration has resulted in a successful event that both we and the participants are very satisfied with.
